How does 'My Car Mate' work?

We take the stress away from the customer, we provide and complete a 5 point job sheet which is where you tell us what you want, important things such as - Your Budget, Economy, Performance, Future Service Costs and Practicality! 

We then search the market of the entire UK trade market (Additional fee for N.I), and come back to you with as many options as we can upto a total of 5 nationwide searches, max 10 vehicles total.

Step 2
Inspect

An extensive (back to day 1) MOT check is carried out on the vehicle to identify any previous repairs or areas of interest for our inspection team. 

A minimum inclusive 72 point inspection on the vehicle of your choice (this can be upgraded to a 218 point inspection or an exceptional 307 point inspection for additional cost).

The minimum checks form part of your initial fee with us however you can upgrade this should you so wish. 

All inspections carried out by a third party qualified mechanic or contract provider.

Step 3
Test

Our qualififed Advanced Driver will take your vehicle on a minimum 10 minute test drive providing your inspection report comes back positively. We may still be able to do so if it is a negative report, but greater care will be taken and any remedial work will be discussed with the dealer and our customer before an agreement made on how to proceed.

The purpose of the test drive is to identify any further faults and more importantly ensure the vehicle suits our customers needs as per the 5 point job sheet provided. 

Step 4
 Legal & Transport

Once you are satisfied with your chosen vehicle and any remedial work (should it be required) is carried out or has been agreed, you will then purchase the vehicle either via ourselves or directly via the dealer. 

We will complete the necessary paperwork on your behalf including tax of the vehicle, V5 Green New Keeper slip and invoice for the vehicle (you are responsible for your own insurance).

Finally, the good part we will deliver your vehicle to a single address in the UK.
